Privacy notice
RYVA (“we”) runs ryva.tv, a streaming service for films and series made with AI. This notice explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your email, name, password (stored as a salted hash by our authentication provider) and the profiles you create.
- Membership: your plan, promo codes you redeem and billing status.
- Viewing activity: what you play, rate, save or search, so we can keep your progress and improve recommendations. Detailed product analytics are collected only if you allow them in cookie preferences.
- Security information: sign-in times, device type and approximate country, so we can alert you to new sign-ins.
- Creator submissions: the details you send through the submission form.
Why we use it
To provide the service you signed up for, keep your account secure, send the emails you need (codes, receipts, security alerts), send optional updates you can unsubscribe from at any time, review submissions, and understand how RYVA is used so we can improve it.
Who processes it
We use Supabase for accounts and data storage, Cloudflare for hosting and delivery, and Resend for email. They process data on our behalf under data processing agreements. We don’t sell personal data.
Your choices and rights
You can update your details and email preferences in Account, unsubscribe from marketing emails with one click, and ask us for a copy of your data or for deletion by writing to privacy@ryva.tv. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to object, to restrict processing and to complain to your data protection authority.
Retention
We keep account data while your account is open and delete it within 30 days of closure, except where the law requires longer retention (for example, billing records).
